Come to this free workshop that is open to anyone in the local community. You will be provided with different tools to promote cooperative behavior and outline positive interventions that will reduce oppositional behavior while building your child's self-esteem. At the end of this presentation you will be able to identify the causes and motivation of misbehavior, describe the behavioral effects of learning and developmental differences, take away specific strategies to address refusals to follow directions, avoidance of schoolwork, meltdowns and bad habits and understand the role of sensory issues in developing behavior patterns.

As part of the Environmental Ed Committee, we are happy to continue the Paperback Book Exchange. Students are welcome to bring in paperback books they have finished reading (1st grade level and up) to exchange for other books! (Please no hardcover, magazines, coloring books or puzzle books.)

A student helper will come to the classroom on Wednesday, November 15th to collect the books and give out coupons for every book brought in. The students bring the coupons to lunch and redeem them for other books at tables set up on the stage.
